They were able to reuse the cement footings rather than pour new, which adjusted the price and saved us money. Very honest and trustworthy company. Definitely will use them for future needs and highly recommend.

I don’t think that I can say enough about the results of my basement project and the perfect cleanup job. All of you took time to explain things and answered all my questions. Taking on a big project like I had was nerve-racking to think about, but you all put me at ease. I am so happy I went with groundwork’s And if I ever need any other projects to be done, I definitely will call you. Also, I would like to mention that the quote I was given was well below other people that I had quotes from. Thank you again for a perfect job done and I couldn’t be any happier with the results. 100% professional and all six workers were very polite and showed interest in keeping me in the loop as to what was going on. We had a great experience with the crew from groundwork on a waterproofing and channel installation. The team of Adrian J, Erik O. and Andrew G. Were courteous, mindful of the rest of the house as they hauled concrete back and forth, and finished the job ahead of schedule. The installation looks great. Adrian was really helpful on communication of the project and what they did and made sure all my questions and concerns were answered. The whole process from estimating, to scheduling, to the work was top notch – would highly recommend.

I had some bowing and cracking in my cinder block basement wall and Groundworks mitigated the issue by adding vertical bracing to the affected wall. I also had water leaking in which was caused mold issues so they also installed a new drainage system in the basement and sealed the walls to prevent water coming in. This treatment provided stability to prevent further movement. The braces were also adjustable to allow for further corrections which were included in the original work. Today, Michael Bowers came out to provide that follow up annual inspection and maintenance. He thoroughly tested the new drainage system they installed and took measurements to baseline whether the walls were stable. Michael explained everything to me and noted some other areas we should keep an eye on without trying to upsell me which I appreciated. He was friendly and thorough. I would recommend using Groundworks and give Michael a high review rating.

I had a service call today for a recent sump installation from last Summer. I unfortunately had a poor initial experience with IBA and was half-expecting a similar experience this time. But I was very wrong. Ricky Oudekerk came to my house on time, took time to listen to my concerns and expertly diagnosed. On his own initiative he took the time to walk me through the sump system and its parts and explained what he was testing. I am new to Minnesota and to sumps generally, and this time was very much appreciated. It turned out I needed a new pump due to a bad component, and he diagnosed it and replaced all within a couple of hours. I was surprised and relieved by the experience. Based on this experience, I will consider IBA again for a future project. Thanks so much.

Chad and Drinor did a great job on my north basement wall. They waterproofed it by adding a interior drainage gutter, sump pump and sheeting. They also used beams that connect with rods to plates in the yard to support and straighten the cinder block wall. When finished they cleaned everything up and walked me through to explain everything they did. Thanks guys
