Mitch Regal

Innovative Basement Authority

Title: Commercial Specialist

Hometown: Idyllwild, CA

Mitch Regal from Ohio Basement Authority

Mitch grew up in Idyllwild, a small town in the mountains of Southern California.  His family owned a small ranch about two miles from where the opening shot of Bonanza was filmed.  He graduated from California State Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, CA. with an agricultural business degree.

He moved to Minnesota in 1988 and sold landscape products.  In 1990 he went to work for a retaining wall manufacturer and worked with engineers, architects and landscape architects on commercial and engineered walls.  In 2004 he worked on the largest segmental retaining wall in the state of Minnesota.

Having worked with soils in his dealings with engineers, he was blown away by what he saw at Innovative.  He was lucky to be there at the right time and was hired.  He is very happy to be working with engineers and architects again pursuing helical piles, helical anchors, push piers and other Innovative projects.

Mitch’s interests include fishing (holds the title of past president of The World Fishing league), film making and being 'off the grid' when camping on their land in northern MN.

Our Mission is: To be Innovative in solving our customers' problems with solutions, products, and service that rate us #1 in the eyes of our customers and employees. One of the best things about serving our customers is taking care of their specific needs, knowing that when the work is completed the customer will be beyond satisfied.  We want to "wow" our customers every step of the way.  Mitch takes personal responsibility to "wow" each customer and is a trusted and valued member of the Innovative Basement Authority team.

    Helical Piering in Owatonna, MN

With our and engineered foundation repair systems, we were able to successfully pier this large building in Owatonna, MN.  Helical piers are straight, steel piers that have helical blades welded to each shaft. These piers are driven into the soils underneath your foundation, then each pier is connected to the structure's foundation via a steel bracket. When all helical piers have been installed, they will work in unison to transfer the weight of the structure to competent soil.

Another foundation stabilized in Owatonna, MN!
