What Can PolyRenewal Do For You?

PolyRenewal Before & After

Innovative Basement Authority has recently added something new to our line of foundation repair products. We’re happy to introduce PolyRenewal, a new product designed to repair settled and buckling driveways, sidewalks, roads, and other surfaces made with concrete. So what is PolyRenewal, and how does it compare to traditional concrete repair procedures?

What Is PolyRenewal?
When heavy concrete is poured over the ground to create sidewalks, driveways, roads, and parking lots – all areas which receive heavy traffic from cars, trucks, and machinery – the underlying soil compacts. This compaction can create some serious problems and render roads, driveways, sidewalks, and parking lots dangerous and unusable. Our solution? PolyRenewal.

PolyRenewal is a strong, stable material used to repair settling driveways, sidewalks, roads, and other concrete surfaces. This structural grade geopolymer is injected beneath settling concrete surfaces and expands to fill voids and strengthen soil. It’s great for homeowners who are worried about their sidewalks and driveways settling and buckling, causing tripping hazards and ruining curb appeal.

Stable and quick-curing, PolyRenewal acts fast to level settling concrete surfaces after injection. It is strong but lightweight, with the ability to support substantial loads. And best of all, it’s completely non-intrusive. It won’t take long to apply to your settled concrete, and nothing will get disturbed in the process.

How Does PolyRenewal Compare to Other Procedures?
The most significant difference between PolyRenewal and the common liquid mortar method is that PolyRenewal is significantly lighter, weighing just 4lb/square foot. Compare that to the 120lb/square foot weight for standard fill materials, and you can see that traditional methods are much more likely to cause soil compaction problems over time.

Another problem with traditional methods is that the flow of the materials is much harder to control. This can cause an installer to inject too much, resulting in a finished product that is still uneven. PolyRenewal is much easier to work with, resulting in a much better end result. And, because it’s waterproof, PolyRenewal will not weather like other popular materials, which crumble away after prolonged exposure to water.

And best of all, PolyRenewal is a fast, mess-free solution to your settling concrete problem. Why worry about someone tripping and falling every time you have guests over? A buckled driveway or sidewalk is not a problem you want to have. If you’re ready to get the concrete surfaces around your home under control, call Innovative or fill out our online form today!
