Fixing foundation walls in the winter? No way!
Foundation damage is no joke and should be addressed as soon as symptoms are noticed. Whether your walls are cracking, bowing or shifting in any way, it’s important you contact your local foundation repair specialist. Especially with winter coming and the ground freezing, that’ll cause extra pressure to be exerted on your foundation walls and could worsen the damage. However, how can foundation walls be fixed when the ground is frozen?
Thankfully, Innovative has repair options that can be implemented all year round. We have foundation repair systems that can be fully installed from the interior of a home along with some that involve excavation. But even with the excavation systems, we work up until the ground is frozen. This means you can enjoy the winter months and not have to worry about your foundation walls worsening.
Also, a few more tips for beginning your foundation repair journey:
-The sooner you get it fixed, the less it will cost you
-(Please) don’t do-it-yourself. These systems rarely hold up and will only cost you more money in the long run
-Find a system with a good warranty
-Don’t replace your entire foundation without hearing other repair options
