Since the end of March, North Dakota has been picking up the pieces and trying to recover from the devastating floods and blizzards that struck parts of the state. As volunteers were piling sandbags trying to prevent rivers from flooding over on March 26, snow was falling on them and the temperatures were below freezing. Now that the worst is over, the cleanup is underway and Innovative Basement Authority would like to help.
The North Dakota Department of Health most recently reported that between April 2 and April 9 there were 18 flood-related injuries bringing the total up to 223 since the flooding began on March 23. Flooding is still affecting residents of areas of North Dakota including Bismarck, Grand Forks and Fargo, and the cleanup and recovery is going to be a long and arduous process.
Located in Fargo, ND, Innovative Basement Authority has seen first-hand the damage the flooding has done on the area. During a dangerous and powerful flood, the lower parts of a home can sometimes see the most devastation. Areas like basements and crawl spaces can be completely destroyed and can also leave behind lasting damage. Wet basements and crawl spaces can foster mold growth and make your entire home unhealthy.
Innovative Basement Authority provides free basement and crawl space inspections and estimates to homeowners in North Dakota and western Minnesota. Homeowners may call them or contact them online to find out how they can help homes recover from the devastating March flooding. There is no reason to go through this difficult cleanup process alone.
Innovative Basement Authority is a basement waterproofing, crawl space repair and foundation repair company servicing North Dakota and parts of western Minnesota. They can fix your wet basement using products including sump pumps, French drain systems and dehumidifiers. They also provide crawl space encapsulation services to protect crawl spaces from mold and moisture.
